Ways to Financially Help Shannon Parker

Shannon Parker was walking with her friend, Kat Solaas, on Sunday, when a car came barreling towards them. Shannon pushed Kat out of the way saving her from serious life threatening injury. Sadly, Shannon got completely run over by the car and suffered among other things: a fractured spine, a fractured pelvis into many parts, hand and feet fractures, severe road rash almost completely covering her body, and extensive internal bleeding. Shannon recently lost her job and now has no health insurance, while her medical costs will surely run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. This page has been set up to provide a "one spot shop" to learn how you can donate towards paying for her medical expenses:

Via Memphis Italian Fest (May 31st - June 2nd only):
An anonymous donor has generously donated $1000, and will match dollar-to-dollar any donation given to Team Paisano (Team Number 30) at the Memphis Italian Festival up to an additional $1000. Team Paisano will be there during the entire duration of the festival. To donate, just find them and tell them you'd like to make a contribution towards Shannon Parker's recovery fund, Rockin' for Red. If you would like to wire money from your bank to the Rockin for Red fund at Regions Bank, please message this support page, or contact LaTrecia Herring or Erin Leigh Wells to have the account and routing numbers messaged to you personally. Mention Rockin for Red when you go into Regions Bank and they will ensure that the money you donate is placed into the account.

Several Mid-South businesses and organizations have offered to allow us to setup donation cans at their locations. Just drop by the location and put some money into the can. Via Blood Donation:
While Shannon does not appear to be in need of blood immediately, a blood drive has been started in her name. In honor of Shannon Parker, Rockin' for Red has created a donor code with Lifeblood for replacement units of blood. You can give at any donor center in the Memphis area. Go to www.lifeblood.org to find the location closest to you. You can even schedule an appointment! When you do, be sure to tell them you are donating replacement units for Shannon Parker between now and June 29 to show our support for Shannon!
